8.5 month old wont drink her formula anymore!?!?

I ran out of formula the day before yesterday. my husband had the car at work so i had no way to get top the store to get more. So i gave her deluted whole milk. 4 ounces for milk and 4 of water. At Skylin's 6 month check up my Pedi said i couldnt give her whole milk until 10 months but this was an emergency or i wouldnt have. She has been on solids since she was 4 months and has had foods with milk cooked into them so i umed the two bottle i gave her would be okay until i got formula. Well she had decided she doesnt want the formula anymore. i have tried to give her 8 or9 bottles of formula and she wont take it. she takes a sip says UCK!! and throws it down then starts crying. icalled the pedi and she told me at 8.5 months if it was all she will drink then she would recommend just switching to whole milk early but i had always heard it wasnt good for babies to drink it soo young. i was just wondering if any other moms out there switched to whole milk early and if it had any negative effects on their child.
