Brace face haha help?

okay we have medi care insurance but they wont pay for dental braces because its not a life or death situation. so does anyone know if you have to pay the full $5,000 at once or can you do payment plans....and if so how much a month do you have to pay. cuz i need them and i am also kind of scared but someone answer please...my dentist is dr. meckler and he is also an orthodontist....but like i said how much are the payment plans on braces THANX
