Why does Obama now claim to not be a socialist even though he admitted it in his first book?

Show me the exact page(s) and paragraph(s) in that book that he says he is a socialist. He says that he attended socialist conferences to learn more about different types of government.(sounds to me like in college he pursued academics and different philosophies, instead of "anything in a skirt" and booze.) And the link you provided is just Fox News trying desperately to push their "Obama = socialism" meme to make people vote for McCain.
